The assumptions, in full

Solar output 970 kWh per kWp a year (Midlands, EU PVGIS), falling 0.5% a year. Electricity at 26.32p for homes (Ofgem price cap, 1 October to 31 December 2026) and 25p for businesses, sold back at 12p, cheap overnight power at 8p. Standing charges are left out because you pay them with or without solar. Prices stay flat unless you tick the box. We include a new inverter in year 12 and new battery modules in year 13. Business prices are estimates before survey and exclude VAT; tax relief depends on your profits, so check with your accountant. Your personal plan uses your exact postcode, roof and Kilo OS smart-tariff planning, so its numbers will differ a little. These are estimates, not guarantees, and your survey confirms your real numbers.
