What you get

Kilo Air.

What it is
An air source heat pump that replaces a gas, oil or LPG boiler for heating and hot water.
What it does
Pulls heat from the outside air, even in winter, using far less electricity than the heat it delivers.
Your benefit
Your MCS-certified installer applies for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant for you: £7,500, or £9,000 if your home is off the gas grid and installed before 31 March 2027 (Ofgem). That brings the upfront cost close to a new boiler.
What Kilo OS does
Pre-heats your home on off-peak power and coasts through the peak, using the house itself as a thermal battery.
Price
From about £3,000 after the grant, coming soon. Your exact price is on your plan, fixed unless the survey finds something that changes the job.

Questions

About Kilo Air.

Will my house be warm enough?

Yes, if the system is designed properly. Your surveyor does a room-by-room heat loss calculation and sizes the pump and radiators to match.

Do I need new radiators?

Sometimes a few. The heat loss survey tells us exactly which rooms need a larger radiator.

Who gets the grant?

Homeowners in England and Wales replacing fossil fuel heating, with a valid EPC and an MCS-certified installer. We check eligibility before survey.
